It's here, it's now: live painting
When I paint, I transform a view of a person, a landscape, an object, sometimes a photo, into an inner image, an impression, a feeling – into my image of reality, without any rating, without any categories like "beautiful" or "ugly", "good" or "bad".
Looking at and painting alternately is an energetic process: always new visual impressions become inner pictures, which I transfer into colours and shapes. A picture is finished when I no longer feel new impressions. My art is therefore not the capture of a moment or the capture of a situation; it is my (felt) image of the energy of the person, of the landscape, of the object.
